The Values-Based Leadership Program (VBL) is a practical leadership development program designed to strengthen leadership capability and support organizational success. Participants develop the skills and confidence to build high-performing teams, lead through change, coach for performance, and deliver meaningful results.
Through practical tools, real-world application, and experienced facilitation, participants apply what they learn directly to their own workplace situations. VBL helps leaders become more confident, authentic, and effective in how they communicate, collaborate, and lead others.

Each month you will attend an in-person or online 2-day session in Burnaby, followed by a 2-hour online session. Develop personal mastery, develop strong relationship, build teams and lead change.

Personal Leadership
Lead with impact
The Personal Leadership workshop focuses on developing core competencies in communication, coaching, feedback, and conflict management. Participants will identify their strengths and areas for improvement, align with core values, foster trust and mutual understanding, and conduct powerful coaching conversations. The workshop offers practical tools and leading thinkers in the field of leadership to apply immediately
Collaborative Leadership
Lead High Performance Teams
Teams are the fundamental building blocks of organizations. Learn practical tools to build high-performance teams and facilitate decision-making and problem-solving. Participants will learn competencies of team leadership, facilitation, setting goals, motivating teams, and conducting effective meetings. The course aims to tap into the diversity of the team, organizations and communities to achieve amazing results
Change Leadership
Coach for Performance
Change leadership equips you with practical tools, models, and knowledge to effectively manage change and coach for performance. Learn a powerful coaching method, conduct performance dialogue, and coach for performance. You will understand why people resist change, learn to coach individuals through transition, appreciate individual relating styles, and address transition-related behavior problems

The program is Cohort driven. Each class goes through the program together. By doing so, participants build trust with each. Within this safe environment, you will learn from the rich experiences of your peers. You will have to the opportunity to coach and be coached. This trulyis a leadership lab.
2+1 Strategy
2Each module is delivered on a 2+1 format – a two-day workshop, followed in 2-weeks with an online leader-to-leader helps you build real skill. The goal of the leader-to-leader sessions are to improve management and leadership practices through interaction with other leaders. During the leader-to-leader sessions, participants will bring real cases and have the opportunity to be coached, and to coach others.
2+1 is Different
How often have you attended a training program, been excited about the material, and two weeks later you are not using any of the skills? VBL is really different. It take place over 12 weeks with a 2+1 strategy. Each 2-day module is followed by an online session to support your leadership development. It promotes real learning as you apply and practice your growing leadership competencies and skill over time. You will receive quallty coaching from the instructor and your peers throughout the program.
